Moon Paintings
In these Photo-Moon paintings, I try to playfully capture the fleeting moment when light—reflected from the Sun onto the Moon and back to Earth—creates a brief yet profound spectacle. This moment, frozen in time, is made possible only by the fragile alignment of planetary forces. The light that travels across vast distances has shaped human culture for millennia. It’s a reminder of our smallness in the grand scheme of the universe, yet in that smallness, we find meaning—a connection to something much larger than ourselves.
